1. Mitigating Greenhouse Gases (GHGs) from Waste Our safe and controlled collection and bio-conversion of residual organic waste prevents the release of harmful GHGs, such as methane, that would occur if these organics were left to decompose in landfills or open dumpsites. This diversion is a direct action against climate change.
2. Carbon Sequestration via Organic Manure Our BSF Organic Manure acts as a powerful soil amendment. It helps sequester carbon into the soil, improving soil health and structure. By offering a viable alternative, we reduce the agricultural sector’s dependence on chemical fertilizers, which are energy-intensive to produce and often deplete soil health.
3. Preventing Deforestation with Insect Protein We produce high-protein BSF larvae as a sustainable feed ingredient for livestock and aquaculture. This insect protein offers a superior, locally sourced alternative to traditional protein sources like soy, thereby preventing the significant deforestation—particularly in rainforests—that is typically caused by large-scale soya farming
